JOHN ROGERSON'S

CANINE BIATHLON FUN & GAMES

Training & Fun Competition

It's all about having fun and learning some new training tips and techniques in the process.

"It was the most fun I think I've ever had with my dog (and considering that I always have fun with my dog that's pretty amazing!)"

Aryn Hervel, Leaps & Hounds Dog Training

Where:   Riverside, California

This is a four-day seminar with John Rogerson who is widely acclaimed as the world's leading dog trainer and behaviourist.  This seminar will cover skills found in obedience, agility, tracking, working trials and much more, and will culminate in a fun Canine Biathlon. John's training techniques, problem-solving skills and overall abilities will leave you eager for more!

About the Seminar:
Following three days of hands-on training with your own dog, you will put what you've learned to the test as you team up with fellow attendees and make your way through a multi-station challenge that's a bit like THE AMAZING RACE for human and dog teams.

You'll pick up valuable training tips that will enhance the working relationship you share with your dog, while you and your dog are having a great time in the process! This will be like no other seminar you've seen before, and will challenge dogs and handlers of ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why is it called a biathlon?
It has been called a Canine Biathlon because of two of the primary sports involved -- obedience and agility. All the "challenges" for the biathlon will be on the grounds of the Riverside Animal Shelter. No plans, trains, automobiles, or super-human abilities will be necessary.  All you need is a desire to have fun with your dog!

I've never competed in obedience, agility, tracking or working trials. Should I still attend with my dog?
ABSOLUTELY! This seminar is geared toward dogs and handlers of all experience levels.

All that's required of your dog is that he be able to sit, lie down, stay and come to you when called.  And your dog must have good behavior around people and dogs. This is not a course to socialize your dog or to work on their aggression issues.

I don't know if my dog can do agility, tracking or working trials, he/she only knows some basic obedience commands!
John Rogerson has an amazing gift for teaching dogs, and more importantly, their handlers, to accomplish things they never thought they'd be able to do! You'd be surprised what you and your dog can successfully be doing after just three days with John!

What we strive to accomplish with this seminar

Teach owners and their dogs some practical, tactical skills that will provide the owners with more control, and a better relationship with their dogs, while having lots of fun. Our goal is that owners and dogs will be good examples and ambassadors for dog ownership.   The more control people have over their dogs, the more freedoms the dogs can have.
